New Kill Team Starter Set Contents: What To Expect
The large box includes two teams of kill team miniatures: The Fangs of Ulfrich and Advance Team Starpulse. If you are not familiar with them yet, the Fangs of Ulfrich are 5 Primaris Reivers that come from the Space Wolves Chapter. Meanwhile, the Advance Team Starpulse is a group of 10 Fire Warriors with the Drones who are in service to the T’au Empire. Both sides are fully detailed with their signature wargear and specialisms. Once you have assembled each miniature, prepare to get involved in countless hours of fun.
Along with the 15 miniatures are 2 booklets that explain the profiles of the Fangs of Ulfrich and the T’au Empire elites, the Advance Team Starpulse. These booklets are detailed with everything you need to know about these special operators as well as the factions they are loyal to.

However, this is your playground and you can freely change the canon if you want to. You can make your own kill team combinations. Refer to the included Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team Core Manual book inside to know how to get started.
Kill Team Core Manual
Every Warhammer 40K player knows that this manual is the bible of the game. It is the primordial soup of the Kill Team box which lays the foundation of how to play the game and have a better understanding of the game’s factions. This manual includes every background profile, game rules, playable missions, wargear profiles and model datasheets. You can even customize the name of each character.
With this book, you will even know whose side you should go with and know more about each mission and basic game rules. It is the best Warhammer 40k experience since Dawn of War 1 and 2.
In order for the miniatures to perform actions, the box includes Tactics Cards. Each card includes special abilities in order to execute strategies that are relevant to every character on the board. This where the main gameplay depends on. You will need to use the right card for the right moment in order to raise your chances of winning. The Starter box includes 36 universal Tactics based on the manual and 22 additional cards that are exclusive to both the Fangs of Ulfrich and Advance Team Starpulse.
Board and Background
Fortunately, the game is officially made by Games Workshop so you can expect high quality scenery that is true to the original game. The Starter Set includes a folding gameboard that is double-sided, depending on which background and ambiance you want your game to be.
It also includes six frames of the Sector Mechanicus buildings to reenact the same futuristic steampunk atmosphere of the 40K universe. Each building is fully detailed, making the tabletop experience lively in every game session.
Of course, you will need some dice for the game. There are over 6 cube dice and 2 diamond dice. The game also provides a 12″ plastic ruler for measurements and 2 sheets of card tokens to track down in-game buffs and debuffs. It plays exactly like the RTS games.
