Playing With Swords: Black Ops | PS3 | 7/29

PS3 players, the wait is finally over: The third DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops, Annihilation, will be available in the PlayStation Store this week. (It’s on PC as well, and you’ll find it at Steam and Activision’s store when it’s ready.) So, this Friday night, let’s soak up that double XP with a Playing With Swords session.

I’ll be on PlayStation Network Friday, July 29, from 6pm to 8pm Pacific. You don’t have to own the new maps to play with me, but it’d be a good idea, as I think a lot of people will want to play on them (myself included). If we get into a party and the folks who don’t have the maps are bumped due to a majority rule, please don’t take it personally. Also, it will be double XP for all players on all maps on all platforms, regardless, so jump on your system of choice for some fast leveling.     imma have to help my dad move friday-sunday but ill playing the next weekend and i like to play the zombie part more than the online bit of the game so i dont care make a side account and invite me sometime the arrow points to my name.

    Hey Dan just wanted to say thanks for putting up with all the crap from our community on the PlayStation Blog. All the comments when you announced the date were so negative, but now that it’s actually out, everyone is really excited to play, and I’m glad to see that.

    Because I figured people would realize they could just send me a message during the event and ask for or offer an invite — people do that all the time. 

    Or they could read the FAQ linked above, which says the same thing.  ;)

    Kewlio! Thanks for the info. Got the new maps today and I’m enjoyed them. I’m looking forward to the double XP! So cool for ranking up and I think the games are better and funner because people play all weekend long. The Nuke Town weekend a few months ago was a blast. I’ll ask for an invite.

    this sucks. I cant get on anywhere between 6/8 lol parents hog the tv. I wont get on til 9 or so. dang that would be fun to play though :)
