One of Swords Podcast 103: Bedward and Lacob

by Dan on January 11, 2012

MW3 DLC is coming soon, and both Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling and Raven Software’s Eric Biessman are on the show this week to talk about what you can expect. What you probably didn’t expect was chatter from Hugh and Kat about man dolls, Disneyland, the Elite iOS app, double strollers, the biggest Xbox Live games for 2011, the history of Jim Levy, Skyrim, a really good charity, a guy who can talk to plants, and finding a Dremel in the strangest places. Plus…we have an update in the Banana Quik saga.

I dont understand the problem with PC, I wonder if there is a contract that makes IW keep the platform in the backseat. I just wish they would get the cod4 code, upgrade the graphics and release that. It would be so much better.

Another interview that didn’t interest me at all, but what can you do?  I’m sure there are more with questions about Eleanor Rigby and no eye deer right around the corner.  More silly, less COD, I say.

This is my goal…but you know, when you get the chance to talk to the people working on the most popular game in the industry and there’s actual new info to discuss, ya don’t say no. But I do have some unusual guest ideas for the future, so I will keep the silly in mind.

Awesome. So Hugh’s book is exactly like Twilight eh? Which is exactly like Romeo and Juliet. Damn if it was exactly like The Dresden Files I’d all over it.

The kids stories are great. It’s the reason I’m content with cats. They are still destructive, messy, loud and care very little about me. But I can leave them at home alone and not go to jail.

Small correction: The Major Nelson Top Games Played On Xbox 360 list isn’t based on time played. It’s based on unique users. In other words, how many different gamertags played that game throughout 2011.
