Kat and I are here at New York Comic Con and we’ve brought some friends along: The first hands-on playable version of Prototype 2, plus GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, X-Men Destiny and Spider-Man: Edge of Time. We headed back to the hotel mid-day in a change of plans, but that meant Kat had time to get me a batch of pictures. So enjoy!
Prototype 2 owns the first half of the Activision booth; the other games are on the other side of the wall.
Giant banners for Amazing Spider-Man and Men in Black games? I guess that counts as confirmation.
Winning your match of split-screen multiplayer on GoldenEye 007: Reloaded earns you an Oddjob "Cheater" t-shirt while supplies last...
Ms. Marvel is wearing latex. If ya got it, flaunt it.
There is an area of P2 demo stations, and another area for preorders. People are going from one to the other!
Marvel's booth is directly across from Activision's. This Avengers stage looks great; I'm eager to see what they do there.
Janine & Louis cosplay from Ghostbusters? "Yes, have some!"
A little greenscreen magic puts Activision booth visitors into Men in Black or Amazing Spider-Man scenes.
An Alex Mercer cosplayer visited the booth! The guys from Radical were beaming with pride.
"Alex" was nice enough to pose with Radical studio VP Dave Fracchia, too. Meet your maker, so to speak.
Remember Pong Sifu from GamePro? He's all growed up now and goes by the name "Frank Parisi." He works on Star Wars novels for Del Rey.
"The disembodied head of Link is staring at me while I eat lunch," said Kat.
Arguably the most dangerous ladies at the con -- Lady Deadpool and Chun-Li.
Bravery.
Want more? Day 2 and Day 3 await.
