Men In Black video game coming spring 2012

The scum of the universe returns!

Seems there’s always some sort of sneaky surprise announcement around a major geek event — this time, suspiciously close to New York Comic Con. Activision will publish a new Men in Black game this spring, but other than that, very little has been announced — no developer, no talent, no story details, no nothin’. All we know is — and I’m quoting the official press release here — that it will be “true to the spirit of the franchise” and “the original title will feature action-packed, yet light-hearted gameplay mixed with edge-of-your-seat shooting excitement.” Please note that “original” does not suggest it is based on the MIB movie currently in production — it could well be a side story or a prequel or something — but I’d wager this game will be released conveniently in time to accompany the new flick’s debut.

Right now, there are two teaser images, and based on those, the game could be anything, but we know this much: it will be something.

So, there's some sort of shooting...

More details probably won’t be revealed at NYCC — I think you are looking at the big MIB news for the show — but when they are released,  I will post accordingly.

You do realize MIB started as a comic book, right?
