Rezurrection DLC on PC & PS3 Sept 22 (with double XP for all!)

by Dan on September 13, 2011

What else is there to say but GRAAAGARAHHAHGH

It’s official: a recent Call of Duty Intel post says Rezurrection, the Zombies-only DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops, is coming to PC and PlayStation 3 on Friday, September 22.

Just like their Xbox 360 compatriots, PlayStation 3 players who own the Hardened or Prestige Edition of Black Ops will get the new Moon level for free (this time as a separate download — just make sure you have redeemed that Classic Zombies pack code that came with your game or you won’t see Moon as an option), as well as a PS3 zombies PSN theme. Both PC and PS3 gamers will get the Zombies soundtrack as a free download as well.

Best of all, to celebrate, there will be a double XP weekend on all platforms (PS3, PC, 360, and Wii) starting September 22 and running until the 25th. I will plan for a Playing With Swords night that weekend.

If you haven’t read my cryptic interview with Jimmy Z, now’s a good time. Moon is a piece of work, and so is he.

I have been speaking with your support regarding the massive framerate fail on ps3 (zombies). I have been informed that dev’s have acknowledged the problem and are working to getting a patch out. I would be most grateful if you can keep the community posted on the status of this patch. Thanks. Ripperkip.

Error: Hardened edition for PC does not exist.
You’d think after all the money the PC gamers pumped in (by renting servers) we’d get something for free.

    Guess not.

You are getting something free that other players are not getting.

Of course, that’s not actual equality between platforms, but that’s biz for you. Sometimes, one platform gets something the others do not, and all the other platforms get jealous.

BTW…what does MW3 HE have to do with Black Ops DLC? Nothing. Please try to keep these things on topic. Thanks.

I was refering to the HE of BlOps, or was that a prestige edition? I keep mixing those two up. But neither are aviable for the PC.

Ah. Yes, in that case, you are right. There was no special edition of PC Black Ops.

It was also a year ago.
