Alternate SM:EoT & X-Men Destiny outfits at GameStop

Ricochet, Ricochet
Does whatever a…Ricochet does

Yeah, that didn’t work for me either. But Ricochet is one of four alternate costumes from the Identity Crisis storyline — along with Dusk, Hornet, and Prodigy — that Peter Parker can wear in the upcoming Spider-Man: Edge of Time. If you preorder the game on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 from GameStop, you get all four. And they’re not just cosmetic – you’ll get boosts to health, damage, health regeneration, or shield regeneration, depending on which one you wear.

Similarly, the GameStop PS3 and 360 preorder bonus for X-Men Destiny features gameplay boosts: Havok‘s costume includes some of his plasma-based powers, like the ability to stun enemies through energy absorption and do more damage over time. (More dots!) Havok’s outfit can be worn by any of the three player characters, and they’ll all get the combat bonus while they wear it.

Adrian, Grant, and Aimi -- you choose their destiny AND their outfits!

For more info on both games, check out HeroHQ on Facebook — that’s the official Activision Marvel games hangout. And they have more images of the Spidey alternate outfits, too.

The X-Men costumes look very Tron like.

Why has it been so hard to find any news or information about this xmen game? It is not that far from release yet I don’t feel like I know I a whole lot about it.

Blame that on Havok. He had the look before Legacy, actually.

I think they’ve been saving it for San Diego Comic-Con — that’s always the biggest comic-related event of the year. And that’s next week, so info is just now coming out.
