Activision: A bunch of crazy Tough Mudders

by Dan on May 20, 2011

There are marathons, and then there is the Tough Mudder — a brutal combination of a 10-mile run with a grueling obstacle course involving barbed wire, high walls, mystery obstacles, and yes, a hell of a lot of mud. Sounds crazy — why would anyone choose to go through all that? Well, it depends on your motivation.

Next weekend, in honor of Memorial Day, ten athletes from Treyarch, Neversoft, and Activision will put themselves to the test for the Call of Duty Endowment, which helps place unemployed veterans in the full-time jobs they deserve.  Let them tell you about it in their own words:

Every time I hear “Mudder” I think of all those MultiUser Dungeons I used in college, also the episode “Jaynestown” from Firefly. Hopefully the Paypal link will work on Friday.
