Surprise! I thought we’d play Call of Duty: Black Ops this week. Original, right?
See that guy falling down dead? That'll be me.
I will be online for two sessions: Thursday November 11 on PS3 and Friday November 12 on Xbox 360. Both sessions take place from 6pm to 8pm Pacific and I will be easy pickin’s in both. I strongly prefer Domination or any other objective-based game type, but I’m up for just about anything…though I am not yet good enough to hang in Wager matches, so I’d rather not do those. I am desperately trying to claw my way toward getting my guns tuned up and I am saving my in-game cash to do that — I’m just not a good enough player to find Wager Matches fun yet.
More details after the jump.
I expect to get swamped with requests simply because Black Ops is, well, going to be pretty popular, so please do not take it personally if I do not join your game — sometimes lobbies fill up, sometimes I can’t react quickly enough to jump into that one spot. When I do these sessions, my screen is a constant barrage of pop-ups saying “Let’s play!” in some form or another. My one rule: I will not do private sessions and I will not do private parties on 360. That goes against the nature of these events. I have some other details on how this will work here.
If you want to join in on one of my sessions, just drop me a note on PS3 or 360 and I’ll shuffle my friends list as best I can to accomodate you. Or you can just take your chances and try to find me in random matches, but a simple “inv plz” message is probably a better call. If you would like a Facebook reminder, here’s the PS3 session and here’s the 360 session.
See you online…with the rest of the world.
