The nominees for the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards were announced today, and Activision racked up an impressive 20. Call of Duty: Black Ops leads the Activision stable with seven nominations (the overall leader for the awards: Mass Effect 2, with 10, and Red Dead Redemption just behind it with nine) but I’m obviously happy to see many other games from this year get recognition (yay Blur!). Major congratulations to all the teams — it really is an honor to be recognized for your work with a nomination.
