Playing With Swords: Singularity | 360 | 8/2

After many requests from fans of the game, I am happy to announce that this Friday, August 6, I’ll be playing Singularity on Xbox 360 from 6pm Pacific until 8pm Pacific. The game’s multiplayer is a different twist from most shooters — it’s humans vs. monsters.

I was tempted to play on PC for this one, and I have the PS3 edition as well, but the most requests I’ve gotten for this night come from 360 gamers. Make thy voices heard and I will plan these events accordingly.

If you’re not on my friends list, don’t freak out, just drop me a line and I’ll try to invite you in. If there are tons of people I’ll shuffle around lobbies. A lot of people say they will attend but don’t, so I never know if I’ll be switching lobbies all night or diving deep with a dedicated bunch of gamers. We’ll see how it goes.     When you say “drop me a line,” I assume you mean send you a message on Xbox Live?

    This is the first of these Playing With Swords games that I might be able to play, so I just want to make sure I'm there. :)

    Yes, that's what I mean — just a text message in the service. Doesn't have to be long or even complete — “inv pls” is a common one I get from folks without a USB keyboard or chatpad.

    I suck at playing with them. For some reason I do very well with the Healer and with the Radion.

    I can't believe that I missed this because my power went out for a short time. So my alarm clock didn't wake me up, so I couldn't hop in. And I reallllly wanted to play, bad. Ah well, this happens, hope I can catch another one.

    Man, our team rocked so much that I was able to get the achievement for most kills in a match!
