Save $20 when you buy Blur

by Dan on June 16, 2010

Several people gave me the heads-up on this (thanks Twitterfolk, incluing Talus) but it’s definitely worth passing along: If you’ve been on the fence about the arcade racer Blur, let this $20 coupon push you over. That’s US or Canadian dollars, your choice — for once, my friends up north catch a break!

I am still playing Blur regularly along with thousands of other people. Get this while the gettin’s good.

Thanks for the shoutout, Dan! Hope you're having a great time at E3!

And don't get bothered by the app that gets installed for printing the coupon. It's harmless. It's simply there to make sure you're printing directly to a paper printer rather than a PDF or other file printer. You can uninstall it as soon as you're done printing the coupon.

I got a copy via e-mail and was psyched to find it there cause the only reason I don't have Blur yet is cause cash has been tight lately but how can I not justify the purchase now?

It would be nice if Activision didn't require you to install spyware on your machine to print the coupon. The EULA makes the statement that the software installs keys on your machine and that those keys will not be removed when you uninstall the software. On top of that, they won't let you install and run it in a virtual environment. I guess I'll just keep waiting for the price to fall before I buy it.
