Some confusion out there about the Blur beta, so let me do a quick clarification before I get in a tin can and hang in the sky for 12
hours.
Several websites will be launching contests and giving away beta
tokens starting on Tuesday, March 2. The gameplay sessions that those tokens unlock does not begin until Monday, March 8. This March 1 date that some media sites are reporting is not the right date for the public beta.
I will have some tokens to give away too. Stay tuned for details…

Good to hear Dan! Colour me interested. Though your wording has got me a little confused, tokens and sessions. Do tokens allow only for a certain # of races rather than the usual 'code then play beta until certain date'?
I'd be glad to take one of those beta codes off your hands as well! ;)
Sorry, that was me on little sleep typing on an iPhone. The “token” is the 25-character code that you type into Xbox Live to download the Blur MP program. Sessions are just games — there is no limit to the number of times you can play. Once you have the token (which is really just the term everyone around me uses for betas, so I guess it's grown on me), you just play as long as the beta lasts.
I didn't know exactly what this Blur was about. I've just seen some videos on Gamespot website and it's totally amazing. I'm very exciting with the split screen mode… I believe it is the most powerful feature of the game. Looking forward to play it!
